Your reactions make sense. You deserve tools that respect that.

Life after abuse can feel confusing: doubting your memory, feeling on edge when things are calm, carrying shame that was never yours. Most self-help asks you to push through. Finding Steady Ground does the opposite. Every page lets you pause, skip, or stop — and every module has a two-minute path for the days when that’s all you have.

Common questions

Is this therapy?

No. Finding Steady Ground is educational and skills-based. It can sit alongside therapy, advocacy, or medical care, but it doesn’t replace them, and it isn’t crisis support.

Do I have to write about what happened?

Never. No exercise asks you to describe details, build a timeline, or contact anyone. Noticing privately counts as complete use.

What do I receive?

Instant PDF downloads, including a fill-in version you can type into and a low-ink version for home printing. Every purchase includes a personal use license.

Is it private?

Your files are yours. If you share a device or account, the books include tips for keeping your copy and your answers private.

Your pace is the right pace.

Start with two minutes. Come back whenever you’re ready.

Steady Ground Studio offers educational resources created from lived experience. They are not therapy, medical care, legal advice, or crisis support.
